I am now a stay at home mom! I got laid off yesterday so now I get to spend every minute watching my little man grow up and I am getting paid for it!

Friday Fun with Mommy

Today was a great day! After I picked Lincoln up from Mrs. Suzie's we met my sister and her family for Fish Fry Friday. Then Linc and I put on our jackets and walked up to the horse farm to meet the horses. He LOVED being in the carrier and outside. We spent an hour and a half just walking around our house and to the farms. I am so excited that spring may just be here and we can get outside more. He was so excited and didn't know what to look at first.

Hi ho hi ho it's back to work I go...

Wow 14 weeks flew by and now I must unfortunately return to work. March 1st was the big day! We are so greatful that we have Mrs. Suzie to watch the little man because I don't think I could have survived putting him in daycare this young. My first week went pretty well to say the least. Dave dropped Lincoln off everyday except Friday which really helped me with my seperation anxiety. It also made things soooo much easier on me. The first week I called to check on him at least 4 times a day. And now I am still calling everyday after lunch and on the days Dave takes him I get a morning check up and then I still call Mrs. Suzie after lunch. Lincoln loves her already and she takes such wonderful care of him. She treats him as if he is part of her family which I LOVE especially since he is there so much. Dave takes him 3 days a week and I take him 2 days. This works best because on my days he is there from 7-4:30 which makes for a long day. Plus Dave gets to spend more time with him since he is on second shift and probably will be forever (the joys of being a Railroad employee). I really miss my afternoon naps and snuggle time with Lincoln. But back to the grind I must go...
